We’ve given the classic Earl Grey a fresh twist by combining the bergamot's zest with grassy sencha green tea. They create an intense freshness with a floral note in a beautifully vibrant green cup.

The processing

For our GREEN EARL, Italian bergamot oil is carefully mixed with the tea leaves in a drum. This process is repeated several times to achieve the desired intensity.

It was first popularized around 1738 by Nagatani Soen, a tea farmer from Uji, who introduced the steaming process for green tea leaves.
