The early bird catches the golden worm

A black tea that makes every day golden: With its robust, full-bodied aroma, this extremely limited variety encourages you to enjoy life and its gifts to the fullest. Crafted from delicate tea buds and spicy leaves, directly from the Valley, shining in intense gold, this tea captivates with flowery tones that accompany the main notes of a touch of caramelized butterscotch.

Lumbini Tea Valley Building

Lumbini Tea Valley (Sinharaja Forest, Sri Lanka)

Surrounded by untouched nature, with pure, oxygen-rich air flowing in from virgin rain forest, the Lumbini Tea Valley is located in the Sinharaja National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – one of Sri Lanka’s last viable tropical rainforests. With roots dating back to 1975, the plantation now covers 89 hectares and is home to the finest natural tea.

An inspiring example for organic farming

Lumbini has been practicing organic farming for almost 10 years now. Since then, organic methods have also spread among the farmers in the Valley: 60 carefully selected smallholders have been trained and supported in converting to organic farming, with Lumbini covering the costs of certification. The aim is for the entire Valley to be 100% certified organic by 2028. Enjoy this unique black tea from the Lumbini Tea Valley, whose organic cultivation not only delights your taste buds but also supports local small farmers dedicated to a sustainable future—a true gift for you and for nature.
