How the tea tastes

Daikoku

This Japanese green tea combines the aromatic highlights of Gyokuro with those of Sencha. It unfolds intense umami notes and carries a pleasant freshness and sweetness, which impresses both green tea connoisseurs and newcomers.

How to create
the perfect cup of tea

The preparation

To preserve the delicate flavors of green tea, avoid using boiling water. We recommend several infusions to fully explore its subtle and complex notes.

The processing

Our DAIKOKU is a Kabusecha, a partially shaded tea. One to two weeks before harvest, the tea plants are covered with a dark net. This process results in an intense green color and a strong umami flavor.

The origin of the tea

We source our DAIKOKU directly from Japan, from a family-run business with years of expertise in producing high-quality green tea, with which we have a close partnership. By combining traditional and modern techniques, they create exceptional tea varieties.
